Privacy notice

What we collect

• A randomly generated anonymous ID stored in your browser, so we can tell visits from the same browser apart. It contains no name, phone number or anything that directly identifies you.
• What you do on the site: which restaurants you view, what you search for, which filters you use, and when you tap navigation, WhatsApp or share.
• Where you came from, such as which platform or which video link.
• The language you choose (stored in your browser so it's remembered next time).

What we don't collect

• Your location is never stored in our database. If you allow location access, it is kept (to about 100 m) only in your own browser for 6 hours to show restaurants near you. Without permission, the home page uses an approximate location based on your network (IP), which is not stored either.
• Browsing needs no login, so we don't know your name, phone number or email. A phone number is only used if you choose to create an account (see below).
• Anything you do inside WhatsApp, Waze or Google Maps.

Accounts and reviews

• Phone number: used only to send a verification code, confirm the review comes from a real person, and keep it to one review per number per restaurant. It is never shown on the site or given to restaurants or any third party.
• The verification SMS is sent by our SMS provider on our behalf (the SMS starts with “Cumulo”). The provider only receives the number and the code message.
• Your star rating, text, photos and nickname are shown publicly on the restaurant page. Your saved restaurants are visible only to you.
• Creating an account requires verifying your phone number and setting a nickname and password. Passwords are encrypted, so even we cannot see them. After you log in, your browser keeps a login cookie for 180 days. It does not contain your phone number.
• Reported reviews are checked by us; reviews that break the rules may be hidden or removed.
• You can contact us at any time to delete your account, reviews and phone number.

How we use it

• To improve the site and decide which restaurants to list.
• To show restaurants combined statistics, e.g. “200 people viewed your page this month”. We only share totals and never hand over data about individual visitors.
• We do not sell your personal data.

Your choices

Clearing your browser data deletes your anonymous ID, and later visits are treated as a new visitor. To ask about or delete data related to you, please contact us.
